The Rock-n-Cedars Square Dance Club dances in HONDO every Sunday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (lessons begin at 5 pm).  We are dancing at the Rick Taylor Youth Recreation Center, 601 Harper, Hondo TX.  (See directions below)
 
Our most excellent caller is John Carlton who has over 30 years teaching and calling for dancers of all levels.  He will get you on the floor and dancing before you know it.
    
We invite you all, age 7 to 107, to join us.  Come alone (no partner is required) or with a friend or bring the whole family.  Children 7 or older will usually be able to learn more quickly than the adults so come and dance with us for fun, exercise, and meeting some really great people. The entire family will enjoy square dancing!
 
The rock and the cedar are abundant in this part of the country.  Our name reflects the fact that we hope our square dancers will also come to be plentiful.
 
 
 
The rocker underneath the cedar tree tells you that
 
"we rock."
 
 
 
 Directions:  The Rick Taylor Center is located on the West side of Hondo.  Take Hwy 90 into Hondo and cross the railroad tracks at Castro Avenue.  Take the second left onto Harper.  The Center is located at the corner of Castro and Harper.  You will see the brightly colored roof.
